4. How long does it take to go through the haunted hotel?

That depends on many factors. First you must buy your tickets, then wait to enter the haunts. Once you enter, you go through at your own pace so the length of the experience varies from group to group. To walk through  usually takes between ~20-40+ minuets. The lines get longer the closer it gets to Halloween. You may encounter strange creatures the moment you leave your car, so be ready for anything!

5.  Can I buy tickets in advance?

You may purchase tickets online only in the fall operation hours at this time.

7.  Are there any age restrictions?

Huntington Jaycees' Haunted Hotel is recommended for adults and teens, but younger kids may come if parents choose to bring them.  We generally don't advise this haunted attraction for kids under 10.  Carrying babies though is NOT recommended. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the haunt. There are many emergency exits throughout in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

30.  Is this the haunted house where there are 13 floors and when you get to the top you get your money back?

No, there is no such haunted house. However, The Haunted Hotel- 13th Floor, is the only haunted hotel in the Indiana or possibly even in the USA that has a virtual haunted elevator that takes you to the 13th floor...

 haunted attraction:

--One money-back haunted house that played with the legend was the Urban Legends Haunted House in Warren, Michigan.  IF you made it through and found the secret door, you got your money back.  The website now advertises Dr Phobias, so I would presume the Urban Legends Haunt is no more.

You can go to the Realm of Darkness in Pontiac Michigan to try to challenge the Wizard and win double your money back.  http://therealmofdarkness.com/about.htm is the website.  We went through in May, 2007 during Hauntcon.  It is a good haunt but we didn't make it far with the Wizard challenge as some of it involves dice and chance.

The one haunt that is multi stories we have heard of is in Kansas City, Mo.  It is called "The Edge of Hell".  From their own website, "Don't miss the Purgatory scene, walk across an authentic swinging rope bridge, crawl into the graveyard and run through Dracula's living room. Ascend to Heaven where you confront your sins then it's down the five story slide into the arms of the Devil himself!"  But they charge $15 and don't give ANY money back.

Just in case we are wrong, we will offer a reward of $
100 to anyone who can can send us the exact location of such a place anywhere in the United States (and any other info; name, website, phone, contact, times open, etc), we'll go to it (or assign someone), go through (well, as far as possible), and give you a report on HauntedHuntington.com! And we'll pay you $ 100 for proving us wrong. No kidding.

But wait there's more...  here is our own version of this legend!
